Japantown’s Mugizo Udon is credited with helping launch the Bay Area’s udon noodle craze when it opened in 2014. Fresh, handmade udon noodles are the specialty at Udon Mugizo which serves numerous styles of udon, including tonkotsu udon with chashu and egg, nabeyaki udon, curry udon and several kinds of cold udon.
Mugizo's "signature" udon is served with cream sauce and all of the noodles are made in-house. The menu also includes gyoza, takoyaki, donburi (rice bowls) and tempura.
